Terms & Conditions

Bake Lab is operated by Lila Denizer (“Bake Lab”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing to use bakelabrecipes.com you agree to these terms, which form an agreement between you and Lila Denizer.

What Bake Lab provides

Bake Lab is a recipe website. It offers a library of refined-sugar-free dessert recipes and tools that generate personalised recipes, ingredient substitutions and estimated nutrition information. A free account lets you save recipes and generate a limited number of personalised recipes each month. Bake Lab+ is a paid membership that removes that limit and unlocks the additional features described on the Bake Lab+ page.

Recipes, calorie counts and macro values are estimates provided for general guidance. They are not medical, nutritional or dietary advice. Always check ingredient labels yourself if you have an allergy, intolerance or medical condition, and use your own judgement on food safety, oven behaviour and doneness.

Your account

You must be of legal age to enter into a contract, or have permission from a parent or guardian. Provide accurate details, keep them up to date, and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Bake Lab. In particular, you must not:

  • use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or misleading;
  • send spam, or attempt to access another person's account or private recipes;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property, including by pasting in content you have no right to use;
  • upload malware, probe or interfere with our security, or scrape, crawl or bulk-copy the recipe library;
  • resell, redistribute or republish Bake Lab content as your own product;
  • reverse engineer the service or work around usage limits, including the free monthly generation limit.

Recipe generation and generated content

Personalised recipes are produced with the help of automated systems, including AI models. You are responsible for what you ask for, for checking that a generated recipe is safe and suitable for you, and for having the right to any recipe text you paste in when using the “Healthify a Recipe” tool. Generated output can be inaccurate or incomplete: nutrition figures are estimates, and a recipe may need adjusting for your oven, pan or ingredients. Do not rely on Bake Lab for advice that requires a qualified professional, such as medical, clinical nutrition or allergen safety advice.

We may remove content, refuse or filter generated output, and restrict or suspend accounts that use the generator to produce unlawful, infringing or abusive content. If you believe content on Bake Lab infringes your rights, contact us through the details in the footer of our billing emails and we will review it and remove infringing material where appropriate; repeat infringement leads to account termination.

Intellectual property

Bake Lab, its software, design, branding and curated recipe library remain the property of Lila Denizer. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Bake Lab for your own personal, non-commercial baking within the plan you have chosen. Recipes you generate are yours to bake, adapt and share with friends and family; the service itself is not yours to copy or resell.

Payments, billing and cancellation

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Bake Lab+ is a subscription that renews automatically — monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose — until you cancel. Prices are shown in the checkout, and taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle based on your location. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel at any time from the “Manage membership” button on the Bake Lab+ page; cancelling stops future renewals and your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Our Refund Policy explains how to request a refund.

Service availability

We work to keep Bake Lab available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and recipe generation depends on third-party AI services that can be slow or temporarily unavailable.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if payment fails and is not resolved, if there is a security or fraud risk, or if you repeatedly or seriously break the acceptable use rules above. You can close your account at any time. If your account ends, recipes stored in your account may be deleted after a reasonable period, so export or copy anything you want to keep.

Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bake Lab is provided “as is” and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or wasted ingredients, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

Other terms

You may not transfer your account to someone else without our consent; we may transfer this agreement as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the seller is established, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction. If we change these terms we will update this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
